What I’m Letting Go of Before the Year Ends (and What’s Coming with Me Into 2026)

Every December, I take time to check in with myself and my business. Not a big “vision board” moment, more like an honest audit.

This year was full. There were big wins, a few pivots, and a lot of learning. I had moments where things clicked and others where I knew I was operating out of habit, not strategy.

Before I move into 2026, I’m taking a hard look at what’s no longer serving me and what deserves to come with me.

Letting Go Of: Doing Things Out of Obligation

I’ve said yes to things that made sense on paper but didn’t feel aligned in real life. Those projects drained more than they added.

Next year, I’m choosing alignment over availability. If it doesn’t fit the bigger picture, it’s not getting my time.

Letting Go Of: Overthinking the Next Move

I’ve spent too much time overanalyzing decisions that didn’t need to be complicated. Sometimes clarity comes after you start, not before.

In 2026, I’m making faster decisions with the information I have and adjusting as I go.

Letting Go Of: Downplaying What’s Working

When something becomes easy, it’s tempting to think it’s no longer valuable. But mastery doesn’t mean it’s time to move on, it means it’s time to scale it.

Next year, I’m doubling down on what’s proven, not just what’s new.

What’s Coming with Me Into 2026

1. Clearer Priorities

I’m done spreading my focus thin. I know exactly which parts of my business create the most impact, and those get first priority.

2. Intentional Growth

Every idea I pursue will have a reason behind it. Not because it’s trending, not because someone else did it, but because it aligns with the direction I want the business to go.

3. Better Collaboration

I’m working with people who understand the vision, not just the task list. That’s the difference between movement and progress.

4. Confidence in My Pace

I’m no longer measuring success by how fast something happens. I care more about staying consistent and building systems that last.

Final Thoughts

Letting go isn’t emotional; it’s necessary. It’s how you make space for what’s next.

As this year ends, I’m leaving behind the noise and keeping what actually builds momentum.

2026 is about refining what works, cutting what doesn’t, and walking into the new year focused and steady.
